Meet Dr. Lamb!
Dr. Alycia Lamb graduated with dual veterinary degrees from Washington State University and Oregon State University in 2000. In 2005, she completed her CCRT (Canine Certified Rehabilitation Therapist) from The Canine Rehabilitation Institute. In the same year, Dr. Lamb opened Sunset Hill Veterinary & Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Lamb was the first veterinary rehabilitation specialist to practice in Seattle.
Since 2015, Dr. Lamb has begun to focus primarily on rehabilitation, allowing her three veterinary colleagues to run the general practice. Under the tutelage of Drs. Sherman and Deb Canapp, Dr. Lamb is now offering advanced and minimally invasive diagnostic procedures like: musculoskeletal ultrasound and needle arthroscopy. In addition, Dr. Lamb is a leader in veterinary regenerative medicine in the Seattle area, with the capability to obtain and process bone-marrow-derived Stem Cells and Platelet Rich Plasma for same day injection into tendons, ligaments and/or joints. This treatment is used to heal partial cruciate ligament tears (non-surgical), treat tendinopathies, and improve arthritic joints.
Dr. Lamb works with a variety of patients from young canine athletes to seniors with arthritis. Her goal is to accurately diagnose a patient, be minimally invasive, and choose the best treatment plan for that patient. In her spare time she enjoys being a regular on KIRO 7’s radio show: It’s Raining Cats and Dogs, reading, gardening and spending time with her husband, 2 children, 1 Labrador, 1 Chihuahua, and 1 amazing cat.
Meet Dr. Smith!
Dr. Kelli Smith has always been a true Northwesterner. Growing up in Snohomish, WA, she realized her passion for helping animals at an early age and first began working with animals while volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation facility. Dr. Smith pursued her undergraduate work at the University of Oregon and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2009. Following veterinary school, Dr. Smith completed a small animal internship at Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine, primarily working in emergency medicine.
Her love of working with clients and developing long-lasting relationships with people and their pets, however, led her to become a general practitioner, and her love of the Northwest led her back to Seattle with her two kitties Zoey and Trinity and her husband Tom.
Dr. Smith developed special interest in dentistry and feline medicine early on in her career, which led her to become a member of both the American Veterinary Dental Society and the American Association of Feline Practitioners and actively participates in their workshops and conferences.
When not at the clinic, she spends much of her time with her two little boys Logan and Colin, and enjoys baking, reading, traveling and pursuing her lifelong interest in ballroom dancing.
Meet Dr. Guan!
Dr. Michelle Guan obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from New York University with a pre-veterinary medicine focus. She then moved to the West Coast and obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California Davis. Soon after, she completed a small animal rotating internship at Seattle Veterinary Specialists where she practiced emergency medicine and worked alongside veterinary specialists to provide high quality, tailored medical care for her patients. Dr. Guan is very much enjoying living in the Pacific Northwest and shares her home with her husband, a Corgi-mix named Charlie, and a British Shorthair cat, named Persephone.
During her free time, Dr. Guan likes cooking, baking, exploring the outdoors and getting to a Cross Fit gym as much as she can. She is delighted in joining the Sunset Hill Team and is looking forward to building long-term connections with her future patients and clients!
Meet Dr. Martin!
Dr. Kim Martin obtained her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Even though she considers living on California's central coast as living in paradise, she fell in love with the Pacific Northwest while attending veterinary school at Oregon State University. Prior to vet school, Dr. Martin had every intention of becoming a mixed animal practitioner but decided to limit her practice to dogs and cats after realizing that the human-animal bond was the most rewarding aspect of Veterinary Medicine. After one year of veterinary practice in Aberdeen, she moved to the Seattle metropolitan area working in practices in Woodinville and Kirkland. Thrilled to be joining an excellent team at SHVRC, she looks forward to completing specialized training in Veterinary Acupuncture.
When not working, Dr. Martin loves reading, traveling and spending time with her husband and their three pets (two dogs and one cat).
Jennifer pictured here with her first kitty, Bali, is our Hospital Administrator. She moved from Maine, with her then 3 kitties (now down to one, sadly Bali not being one of them), to help Dr. Lamb start Sunset Hill.
She holds a BS in Business Management as well as an AS in Veterinary Technology, with most recently obtaining human resource certifications, SHRM-CP and PHR. While working as a technician in ME, at an all-cat practice, Jennifer developed a softness for felines. She especially finds the blue-eyed, 'pointed' cats mesmerizing.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys many outdoor activities.
Originally from Boston, Ashlee is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She brought her passion for animals to the Pacific Northwest in January 2008. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology and went on to explore specialty veterinary medicine by working as a surgery and ER technician. She joined the team at Sunset Hill in February 2009, eager to meet all of you and provide the best quality medical care to your beloved companions. Ashlee treats every patient as if they are her own and goes to every extent to ensure they have the most comfortable experience possible. She has three wonderful cats: Twix, Sandra and Jossi, at home in Boston and two rambunctious boys, Oliver and Toby who live here in Seattle. When she's not at the clinic, she finds time to read, spend time with friends and explore this beautiful city.
Caitlin is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who joined our team in December of 2008. Caitlin is a master organizer and helps Sunset Hill run smoothly and efficiently! She has a soft spot for the pups, and is always snuggling them and making their experience here as pleasant as possible. When Caitlin isn't here you will find her with her son Callan (who joined our family September 2014!) and husband Todd playing and making memories. She is also known as our "Chihuahua Whisperer" and has two Chihuahuas herself: a furry girl named Ella and her doggie soul-mate boy named Finnley, whose paws are tattoo'd on her wrist!
Caitlin is very excited to be on the Sunset Hill team and looks forward to making and meeting many more friends, furry and not!
Erika has been with us since early 2011. As Office Manager, she truly enjoys client interaction while hearing the barks and meows of each new day! Though her passion for music led her to work in the industry with her family for over seven years, she decided it was time to switch gears and focus on her other love...animals!
Erika has a BA in Communication Studies from Loyola Marymount University and completed the Veterinary Assistant Course through North Seattle Community College.
Next to road trips & traveling with her husband, Jon, she also treasures spending time with her family in Seattle and Los Angeles. Visiting museums, star-gazing and any moment spent outdoors or on the water, make her truly happy. Erika looks forward to meeting you at Sunset Hill!

Kelly joined our team in 2015 as an Office Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant. We first met her when she brought her own furry best friend, Phil, into Sunset Hill to see Dr. Lamb! She was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and has loved all animals since before she can remember. A graduate from the University of Washington, Kelly plans to someday go to veterinary school.
When she's not enjoying her time learning new things at work, Kelly is hanging out with her buddy Phil - who has prosthetic eyes!- And her adorable 24-toed kitty, Kona. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, is an avid movie-watcher, and loves to paint and write.

Her other passions include cooking and baking and she loves to share her treats! Currently a foster parent for dogs, she would love to some day run a rescue of her own and save all varieties of animals!
Coral Pond is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She is originally from Seattle but but grew up in the Bay Area of California. She missed the Pacific Northwest so much that she moved back in 2004 and has loved being back ever since.
In 2012, Coral received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Central Washington University and then attended Pima Medical Institute in order to receive her Veterinary Technician License in 2014. While working in the field as an LVT for both small animal medicine and exotic animal medicine, she also attended the Chi Institute's Veterinary Technician Program for Chinese Medicine where she became certified to assist with Acupuncture, Tui Na and food therapy. Chloe joined the Sunset Hill team in 2016. She earned her Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from Pima Medical Institute in 2013, and has worked in small animal hospitals ever since. She works in both the rehabilitation and general practice sides of the clinic, and can usually be found snuggling the patients or laughing with her coworkers when she has free time. Chloe loves all animals, but has a special place in her heart for brachycephalic (smushy-faced) dogs and cats.
When she's not working, Chloe enjoys reading, cooking and baking, listening to records, hiking, and hanging out with her English Bulldog, Buttercup.
